Happy or TGI Friday?

Oscar Wilde Quote.jpg

It's Friday.

How has your work week been?

Fun, enjoyable, calm, boring, quiet, busy, challenging, stressful, tiring, tough, rough?

Or all of the above?

The two words that best describe my week are chaotic and exhausting, with pitiful results to show and a weekly to-do list with almost nothing crossed off on it.

  • The metaphorical fires that need putting out still have enough fuel to continue burning unpredictably.

  • The loose ends I have been attempting to tie are still far from sorted.

  • And those nonsensical business tasks are still as gibberish to me today as they were at the beginning of the week.

To sum it up, I've had a sh...y TGIF kind of week...

Here's the bad news:

Those fires, loose ends and yet-to-be-decoded tasks will still be there for me on Monday.

And the good news?

Those fires, loose ends and yet-to-be-decoded tasks will still be there for me on Monday.

In the words of the wise and witty Oscar Wilde:

β€œThe best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one.”

Thanks for reminding me, Oscar!

Wishing you a happy every day, Friday included of course. :-))

Till next week.
